Arsenal ended a run of 11 successive wins in all competitions as they two penalties by Luka Milivojevic earned Crystal Palace a battling 2-2 draw at home.
Following the game Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno delivered a classy message to Arsenal supporters on social media.
“Tough game today,” Leno said in a video posted on Arsenal’s social media channels.
“Thank you for your support, it was amazing. We will try to win again on Wednesday, see you there!”
And despite conceding twice, the Emirates faithful were full of praise for Leno.
“@Bernd_Leno keep up to your top top standards bruv, you compete with Ter Stegan and Neuer at the national level. How impressive is that? Keep fighting, better days are coming for sure!,” one fan wrote.
Another said: “Keep up the good work Leno. Let's improve on today's performance.”
