Arsenal fans joke on Mo Elneny's contract extension by comparing him to Liverpool's Mo Salah
Mohamed Elneny has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal and the club released a statement saying: “Mo is an experienced international and was part of the squad that recently helped Egypt qualify for this summer’s World Cup – their first appearance since 1990.
"We would like to congratulate Mo on his new contract and look forward to his continued contribution in the coming seasons."
Elneny has made 65 appearances for the Gunners - scoring just twice. And many Arsenal fans have been split on the news with some feel the club need far better if they are to compete against Manchester City.
Here's some of the reaction from social media.
