Arsenal face a huge obstacle in pursuit of left-back Junior Firpo

Arsenal are facing a major obstacle in their pursuit of Real Betis defender Junior Firpo, writes Mirror. Emery would love to sign Firpo as Nacho Monreal contract is nearing an end at Arsenal and Sead Kolasinac is massively out of favour. Manchester City are believed to be interested in Firpo while Arsenal are also monitoring the situation, according to AS. But Arsenal could struggle in the fight with Manchester City for the defender, as his agent is Pep Guardiola's brother. If Arsenal sign Firpo, he won't come on the cheap though. He has a release clause of £43.5m after he signed a new deal last summer.
