Hamburger SV player David Bates, who is making a name for himself in Germany has become a target for both Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal’s interest was reported over the weekend but it has now emerged that Bayern Munich as well as a number of other clubs are interested in the Scottish U21 star.
Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keen on the Kirkcaldy-native, who is also coveted by a number of Premier League clubs.
Leicester City, Everton, Watford, and Southampton are all said to be among the top-flight English sides hoping to land Bates.
Bates helped his team to six clean sheets in eight appearances.
