Arsenal have signed Mika Biereth as he rejected a professional contact from Fulham.
The 18-year-old scored 21 goals in 21 Under-18 Premier League matches for the Cottagers last season.
In 37 games at Under-18s level, Biereth scored a very impressive 25 goals and claimed 15 assists, meaning a grand total of 40 goal contributions in 37 games is a remarkable record.
Arsenal academy chief Per Mertesacker is reportedly happy with the current intake of scholars and youngsters at the club, making it unlikely that there will be further additions this month.
