Arsenal close in on huge £300m deal

According to reports from America a huge five-year deal has been agreed between Arsenal and the German sportswear giants Adidas. It's claimed by sports business expert Howie Long Short that the agreement is said to be worth £300 million over the next five seasons, which works out at £60m a year-double what Puma are currrently paying. The extra money will be a significant boost to Unai Emery and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat as it will give the club more clout in the transfer market next summer, compared to the restrictions they have been working to so far at the Emirates.
