Arsenal close to complete £15m move for first January signing

Arsenal are set to sign Atlanta United striker Miguel Almiron during January transfer window. The Paraguay international has scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for MLS side and the Gunners are reportedly ready to pay £15million to secure his services. Almiron has previously admitted it would be a dream to join a Premier League club. Last Friday, the president of Atlanta United confirmed Almiron would join an English side when the transfer window re-opens in the winter. Club chief Darren Eales said: ‘Almiron’s future is already decided and he will go to England in the European winter market.’
