Arsenal and Chelsea in race to sign Barcelona goalkeeper

Reports from Spain claim that Arsenal and Chelsea are in race to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen. Arsenal manager Unai Emery intends to find a successor to Petr Cech who turned 36 last month and due to his efforts the Gunners have made an approach to Barcelona goalkeeper. However, Barcelona are not keen to sell the Netherlands international for anything lower than his release clause – as much as €60 million (£52m). Chelsea are also interested in the goalkeeper but they also have first-choice Marc-Andre Ter Stegen on radar.
