Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta sends message to Frank Lampard over Chelsea struggles

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed he is taking no enjoyment from Frank Lampard's struggles at Chelsea amid the possible sacking rumors. The Blues were the Premier League contenders just a few weeks ago, while now are in the 8th place in the league table, following the club's 2 - 0 defeat to Leicester City. And Arteta, who has been under pressure at the Emirates Stadium as well, has spoken upon the situation. Asked if it makes him smile that Lampard is now going through what he experienced, Gunners manager replied: "No. When any of my colleagues are in difficulties, I don’t smile. "If anything, I would like to support them. "I had a lot of support from a lot of managers in the league when we were going through rough times, even some advice as well and that’s how it should be. "We are competing with each other but we share a profession and we know the challenges of this profession. So I wish Frank the best." When the reporter clarified that he meant "smile" because the media changed their target, Arteta added: "No. I understand, but no. "I just focus on what we have to do, what we are doing, what I am doing and try to get better every day. "Obviously everything is going to be linked at the end, to results. "It’s not about many other things so we need to be clear on that and we cannot take anything for granted because we know that the job is like that."
