Arsenal beat Burnley at Emirates

Arsenal beat Burnley with a 2-1 score to earn three points in their second Premier League game. Unai Emery made three changes from the team deployed in the game against Newcastle United (1-0). The Gunners welcomed David Luiz and Dani Ceballos to the Emirates. Alexandre Lacazette, meanwhile, has replaced Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Sead Kolasinac was back in the wake of those security issues, though Mesut Ozil missed the game as he was ill earlier in the week and judged not to be match fit for today’s game. Xhaka missed out due to bruising to lower back and leg. The scoresheet of the game was opened in the 13th minute of the match when Lacazette right footed shot from the right side of the six-yard box following a corner and assist by Dani Ceballos. In the 43rd minute of the match, Burnley player Ashley Barnes equalized the score. Two minutes later Reis Nelson had the ball in the net, but VAR showed that Nacho Monreal was offside for the ball and the goal was not awarded. The first half ended with a score of 1-1 and during the break, Nicolas Pepe replaced Reiss Nelson. In the 64th minute of the match, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has right footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner. Ceballos has created his second assist for the game. Kolasinac replaced Lacazette in the 71st minute of the game, while Ceballos was replaced by Lucas Torreira. Here are player ratings of the match by WhoScored.
