Arsenal announce seven players have been released from club

Arsenal have confirmed seven players have been released from the club, including four first-team players. Danny Welbeck, Petr Cech and Stephan Lichtsteiner will all leave the club at the end of their current contracts this summer. Midfielder Aaron Ramsey has already confirmed his move to join Juventus as a free agent when his deal expires on June 30. Arsenal also announced left-back Cohen Bramall, midfielder Charlie Gilmour, 20, and young Spanish defender Julio Pleguezuelo would also leave Emirates Stadium next season. A brief statement on the club website read: "We thank them all for their contributions to the club and we wish them every future success."
