Arsenal are reportedly about to lose their chances of getting Andre Silva, according to
Sport Buzzer.
Duncan Castles, the well-known and well-respected journalist, claimed on the ‘Transfer Window Podcast’ that Arsenal were interested in signing Portuguese striker Silva from Eintracht Frankfurt. The German club require €40 million (£34.38m) for the player.
However, it looks like Arsenal will miss out on the 25-year-old miss out on the 25-year-old striker, as the latter has reportedly passed a medical at Leipzig, and he could be announced in the next few hours.
Silva has been described as “phenomenal” by his Portugal international teammate and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017.
“Andre Silva is doing a phenomenal job, and not just thanks to his goals," Ronaldo said when asked about Real's reported interest in Silva during his Porto days.
The Portugal international has played 32 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, scored 28 goals and gave 5 assists in the Bundesliga last season.
