Armenian football fan remains in a Finnish prison

A member of Armenia National team fan club FAF (First Armenian Front) remains in Finish prison. Finland National team hosted Armenia on October 15, during the Qualifying round of EURO 2020.  The game ended with a 3-0 victory for the hosts. During the game, after the provocation by Finnish fans, one of the Armenian fans threw a stick into a neutral zone, which accidentally hit several people. Following the incident, a member of FAF was taken to the Turku police station. Law enforcers assured that the fan would be released the next day, however, he remains in prison after three-weeks. The lawyer assigned to the fan does not speak English, which makes it difficult to communicate with local law enforcement agencies. Source- Armsport
