After 3 years without international football, Chicago Fire forward Yura Movsisyan has returned to the Armenian national team.
Armenia National team coach and players, both are happy for his comeback.
Ahead of the Armenia National team’s UEFA Nations league game against Gibraltar, Armenian international defender Varazdat Haroyan has paid a tribute to his teammate.
“We are very happy, that Yura Movsisyan returned to the national team,” Haroyan told reporters.
“We all know how well he can play. When you wear the national team’s t-shirt your feelings become different and it does not matter how many matches you have missed with your team. I think we can expect to see a good performance.”
Haroyan has insisted that Vardan Minasyan’s department does not reflect on the team: “I don’t think that coach’s change reflected on us. Everything is well, we’re happy now and we forgot about Macedonia’s game. Nothing will block us from winning; we need to do our best.”
