Anthony Joshua’s defence of his world titles is in serious doubt

Anthony Joshua’s defence of IBF, WBA and WBO titles is in serious doubt after Jarell Miller failed a drug test. Joshua is due to fight against Miller at Medison Square Garden in New York on June 1, however, Miller could now face a ban after testing positive for GW1516, a substance which increases aerobic power and endurance. Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said: “We have been informed by VADA that there has been an adverse finding in Jarrell Miller’s sample collected on March 20. We are working with all relevant parties and will update with more details soon. AJ's preparation continues for June 1 at MSG." This is not the first time that Miller has failed a drug test. Back in 2014, when Miller was kickboxing with GLORY, he tested positive and was suspended for nine months.
