Anthony Joshua warned he is making huge mistake with Andy Ruiz Jr rematch

Photo/PA Anthony Joshua has been warned by Andy Ruiz’s promoter Manny Robles, he is making a big mistake by agreeing to an immediate rematch with Ruiz. 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and former IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight-boxing champion Joshua was knocked out in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden Saturday night by massive betting odds underdog Ruiz Jr. Joshua has told promoter Eddie Hearn to activate the rematch clause. “In my opinion, if it’s the direct rematch, it’s better for us,” said Robles. “Andy already did two fights in a row. It was 15 weeks of work. If I were Joshua’s coach, I would ask him to take a break, wait a year, choose to fight with someone else and do one or two fights before fighting with Ruiz.”
