Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz result: Wilder slams Joshua, Eddie Hearn hits out at Wilder, Fury sends message to Joshua

Photo/PA Andy Ruiz Jr caused one of the biggest shocks in the history of heavyweight boxing by stopping Anthony Joshua in seven rounds to inflict his first defeat and win the IBF, WBA and WBO titles. Wilder wasted little time putting the boot into Joshua. “The Bronze Bomber” offered brutal takedown of the 29-year-old Brit. "He wasn't a true champion. His whole career has consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts," Wilder said on Twitter. "Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!!" Speaking in the post-fight press conference, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn was read the tweet and responded by blasting Wilder for a ‘lack of class’:  “I’m sure there will be lots of people who are delighted AJ lost tonight.“Deontay Wilder has zero class for kicking Joshua while he is down.” Tyson Fury, meanwhile, sent a rather wholesome message to his heavyweight rival. “We have our back and Forth’s but @anthonyfjoshua changed his stars through life,” Fury wrote on Twitter. “Heavyweight boxing, these things happen, rest up, recover, regroup and come again.”
