Anthony Joshua is looking for love - but he has some strict conditions

Anthony Joshua is looking for his special someone to share his success with. Currently, on holiday in Marbella in a break from his North London home where he has spent lockdown with his family, AJ is making the most of his sunshine break. The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion is currently relaxing in Spain before beginning training for his fight against Kubrat Pulev in November. And as he made his way Opium Beach Club, 30-year-old Joshua heard chants signing the name of British arch-rival Fury - who holds the WBC belt. Joshua said: "We are all aware there is a pandemic happening across the world but fortunately none of my family have had any tragic losses or massive effects from the virus. We are trying to take advantage of spending time together." AJ has been making the most of spending quality time with with his family during the pandemic - but has admitted it hasn't been without its problems. He told The Sun: "I started off as super-dad and then that slowly went out the window and to be honest he’s watching way too much TV now. The only thing he wants to do is watch Paw Patrol and Ryan’s World – there’s no way you’d get him watching Joe Wicks.” After splitting with JJ's mum, Joshua still hasn't found the one. He told The Sun: "I think you can date and still be a successful sportsman but it’s hard to find a balance and I would have to compromise — which I’ve not felt able to do. In terms of relationships what I have learnt and what I tell my son is, it would be nice to find a high school sweetheart and to grow together because as you get older you get set in your ways. For me to have a relationship now means I would have to compromise and change my ways and I don’t know how easy that would be for me to do." Source: The Mirror
