Anthony Joshua explains why he called Andy Ruiz's KO shot 'a punch from the gods'

Anthony Joshua rematches Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia on December 7 for IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles. The Brit suffered a shocking defeat in their first fight earlier this year. He had implied the loss was largely down to a “lucky” punch in the third round. Joshua has cleared up what he meant when he said his defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr was down to a 'punch from the gods'. Explaining his comments on The Gloves Are Off, Joshua said: “Why did I say it was a punch from the gods? Because I train in a certain way that means he shouldn't hit me with that shot. So I said it was sent from the gods. But for him, for Andy? That's the shot he landed because he trained for it. I don't worry too much what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. I have to focus on myself.” Source- Daily Mail
