Another Tottenham star withdrawn from international duty due to injury

Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has revealed that Giovani Lo Celso has become the latest Tottenham Hotspur player to withdraw from International duty due to a left thigh muscle injury. Steven Bergwijn has already withdrawn from the Netherlands squad for their upcoming Nations League matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Italy after picking up an injury. In the meantime, Japhet Tanganga also opted out of the England Under-21 squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers against Andorra and Turkey. Son Heung-min will also be spending the international break at Hotspur Way after South Korea’s World Cup qualifiers against Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka, originally scheduled for this month, were postponed until next year due to the coronavirus pandemic. It now looks as though Lo Celso will also be at the training ground for the next couple of weeks as he withdrew from Argentina’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Ecuador today.
