The Anfield nightmare for Luis Suarez keeps going on as Barcelona make a decision
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez could leave the club this summer following club’s shocking defeat at Anfield Road from Liverpool in Champions League semi-finals second leg.
Uruguay international was one of the best players of Catalan side during the Camp Nou match when he scored against his former club and assisted Lionel Messi.
At Anfield Suarez had a massive chance, but he failed to beat Alisson as Liverpool produced one of the most incredible comebacks in the history of football to reach Champions League final.
Following the Anfield defeat, Suarez got injured and was given a green light to undergo a surgery, while Barcelona failed to beat Valencia in Copa Del Rey final to remain with La Liga title.
Despite being Lionel Messi’s best friend, which made him ‘untouchable’ in latest seasons, Barcelona bosses are currently not sure whether Suarez is the forward the club needs for the next season.
Former Liverpool man’s performance at Anfield was questioned and now he is not ‘untouchable’ anymore and could possibly leave La Liga champions after 5 season.
