Andy Ruiz told Anthony Joshua knockout punch ‘came from God’ in rematch face off

Andy Ruiz Jr has revealed what he said to Anthony Joshua when the pair faced off in their last press conference. Ruiz will take on Joshua in Saudi Arabia on December 7, to defend IBF, WBA, IBO and WBA titles he took from Joshua five months ago. Speaking on his Instagram channel, The Destroyer said: “I told Joshua in his face, literally in his face. ‘I said ‘it was a punch from God’. ‘I had been praying and wishing for this opportunity my whole life’. ‘And I took advantage of it’.” The Mexican has been taking on a rigorous training routine in preparation for the rematch.
