Andy Robertson has named Ben Chilwell, Alphonso Davies and Jordi Alba as the best three left-backs in the world. The Liverpool star has himself been one of the best players of his position. During the 2019/20 season, Robertson made 49 appearances in which he scored 2 goals and provided 12 assists.
The Reds left-back was named in PFA and Premier League Team of the Season this season as well as FIFA's Team of the Year for 2019.
"Yeah, don't expect me to do that anytime, that was just incredible the way he took five or six out with one passage of play," Robertson told BT Sport when asked about Davies' performance against Barcelona.
"He's a phenomenal player, somebody I enjoy watching and I think the whole world is enjoying watching him at the minute and I'm no different.
"I think Alphonso Davies is already world-class and he can only get better.
"Ben Chilwell, I love watching in the Premier League and then I would say, Jordi Alba. The more experienced one of the three I would say.
"Maybe coming near the end of his career but what a career he has had. Him and Marcelo took left-backs to a whole new level."
