Ander Herrera wants new Manchester United deal

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera believes he is at “the best team in the UK” and is eager to agree a contract extension. The 28-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his current deal at Old Trafford. He told reporters ahead of a pre-season friendly clash with MLS side the San Jose Earthquakes: “I’m happy in the club and I love the fans. “I’m playing for the best team in the UK, so my first intention is to stay because I love what I do and I love where I am.” Herrera has helped United to FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League honours during his time in England.
