Amad Traore "undergoes Manchester United medical" as Atalanta sell-on clause revealed

Manchester United new signing Amad Traore is undertaking his medical, according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.  The Red Devils have already completed the transfer of Atalanta winger on the last day of the summer transfer deadline, though he will not make a move to Old Trafford until January because of issues with a work permit and his passport. However, the report claims Traore is already undergoing his United medical, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are claimed to pay €25m up front so that Atalanta will receive 15 per cent of any future sale for the player. The overall fee could raise to €40m with a potential €15m in bonuses and performance related add-ons. Despite his young age, the 18-year-old winger has already impressed and has been likened to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi. Earlier this year, speaking about Traore, Atalanta captain Papu Gomez said: "He plays like Messi. "There are defenders in the first team that sometimes cannot stop him. To stop him in training, we have to kick him!"
