Alisson, Thiago, Matip: Jurgen Klopp provides injury updates ahead of Sheffield United clash

Liverpool have received an injury boost as Alisson and Thiago Alcantara could feature against Sheffield United on Saturday night. Alisson has been out of action for four weeks with a shoulder injury, while Thiago had to miss the club's Champions League clash against Ajax due to knee injury he picked up during Merseyside Derby against Everton. Klopp has refused to rule out the Liverpool duo's possible availability for weekend's Premier League match. Meanwhile, Joel Matip could also face a late fitness test in the next 24 hours. "I don't know. We have training after the press conference, so we will see who is out there. You can only be in contention if you are in training," boss said in his pre-match conference.

"Look, in my situation, I don't want to rule anybody out until someone tells me and so far, nobody told me. Maybe I should have listened better!"
