Alexis Sanchez missed United’s last six matches because of a hamstring injury. However, the ex-Arsenal forward decided to return to Old Trafford following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Sanchez dismissed the reports on Thursday that he had bet £20,000 with teammate Marcos Rojo, predicting Mourinho’s demise, and thanked the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager for bringing him to the biggest club in the world.
However, the Chile international is said to have fallen out with Mourinho on multiple occasions and was unhappy with his tactical demands.
It will soon be obvious how Alexis will get adapted under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
