Alexandre Lacazette got injured during Arsenal's 2-1 defeat to Lyon in the Emirates Cup.
Just 12 minutes into the game and Alexandre Lacazette was forced to leave the field. The player took a knock to his ankle and was replaced by Reiss Nelson.
After the game, the 28-year-old was asked about the game and he revealed that he only saw the second half.
“I only saw the second half (he came off injured in the 13th minute), but, from what I have heard, we missed quite a lot of chances and Lyon were ruthless," said Lacazette.
"It is a win for them, good for them… We are feeling good, even though we lost, we remain confident for what is to come.
"Like every pre-season match, we are first of all working on the physical side and on link-ups with team-mates so things are going well. We would have preferred to win, but we need to keep working.”
