Alexandre Lacazette hands Arsenal fitness boost ahead of new Premier League season

Alexandre Lacazette has handed Arsenal a major injury boost. He limped off early on during the Emirates Cup defeat to Lyon. Unai Emery feared over a serious problem but Lacazette was not part of the squad that travelled to France to face Angers on Wednesday night. The Frenchman was back in training at London Colney on Thursday and could play against Barcelona on Sunday for the Joan Gamper Trophy. Arsenal also welcomed back Lucas Torreira and Mohamed Elneny back to training after their international duties.
