Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gives an injury update as he reveals recovery is ‘progressing well’ from knee ligament damage.
Alex is expected to be out for the whole season after damaging his cruciate, medial and lateral collateral ligaments in last season's Champions League semi-final against Roma.
He told Sky Sports: “It is a very serious injury and it can happen to any of us at any time so that's obviously something that is never easy to deal with and get over.
“But I'm making progress and I'm trying to stay positive, that's the sort of character that I am and I'm feeling that is the best way to move things forward so I am in good spirits and I'm progressing for sure."
