Alasdair Gold reveals Tottenham plans for club defender Ryan Sessegnon

Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has opened up on Tottenham plans on the club defender Ryan Sessegnon. The 20-year-old joined Spurs from Fulham last summer but struggled to impress during his playing time, playing just 6 Premier League games for his side. Recently he was sent on loan to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim. Speaking about the player's loan move on the latest video for his YouTube channel, Gold said: “Ryan Sessegnon has moved on to Hoffenheim on loan, there’s no option to buy him there. Spurs still have high hopes, [Jose] Mourinho still thinks that he can challenge Reguilon and be alongside [Ben] Davies for that left-back role in the future. “They wanted to get a club that would play him in that kind of role, or at least a wing-back role. They had lots of interest from the Premier League, teams across Europe and essentially, Hoffenheim presented the best option.”
