Alan Shearer makes Premier League title prediction

Alan Shearer reckons Liverpool will pip Manchester City to the Premier League title but first of all they need to improve up their defence from the Community Shield. City won the Community Shield on penalties 5-4 after edging Liverpool in a game at Wembley. "Without doubt, it will be Liverpool and Manchester City once again fighting it out for the title," Shearer told the Sun. "I’m going to stick my neck out here and say Liverpool might just pip City to the league, providing they are more organised in defence than they looked at times on Sunday. "However, I’m not sure either team will be able to better last season. We were very lucky to witness what we did with Liverpool being so good — and City being just one point better (98)."
