After Liverpool reject £150m deal for Mohamed Salah, Al-Ittihad are reportedly ready to pay as much as £200m to secure the Egyptian's signing.
On Thursday night, a Saudi Pro League club contacted Mike Gordon, who serves as the president of Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, via a phone call. They presented an offer, but it was promptly turned down. Gordon reiterated the Reds' firm position that Mohamed Salah is not available for transfer.
Despite this rejection, Al-Ittihad are expected to persist in their efforts to acquire the Egyptian international until the Saudi transfer window concludes later this month. September 1 midnight marks the end of the summer transfer window for the English clubs.
