Aguero, Wijnaldum, Messi: Free Agents XI

At the end of the 2020/2021 season number of players will become free agents if they don't sign contract extensions with their respective clubs. Among those players is Barcelona star Lionel Messi. The Argentine star has been with Barca since 2005. Since joining the La Liga side, Messi has been vital for the Catalan giants. During this season, the 33-year-old has scored 9 goals in his 17 appearances and provided 4 assists. It would be unexpected to see Messi move away from Barcelona, however, the player has been linked with moves to several clubs including Manchester City where he can reunite with his former coach Pep Guardiola. Messi's national team teammate Sergio Aguero will also become a free agent in the summer. During this season, the Man City star has struggled with injuries. He has made only 6 appearances in which he has scored 2 goals. Another Argentine will also become a free agent - PSG's Angel Di Maria.
