Agent confirms Tottenham's interest in star forward who is available to buy this summer
Habib Diallo's agent has revealed in an interview that Tottenham has approached his client in January. The Metz forward has been linked with a move to Leicester City as well as Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Leeds.
Quoted by Senegal’s APS, Thierno Seydi said: “Already last January, there was an offer from Tottenham.”
He’s under contract with Metz until 2022. But Diallo does have the ability to leave the club this summer if a suitable bid is made.
Whether Leicester, Spurs or any of the other clubs are still interested in the 25-year-old given recent events remains to be seen. The player scored 12 goals and created three assists from just 26 games for Metz in the Ligue 1 season.
