Adama Traore urged to turn down Liverpool

Former Manchester City and Tottenham midfielder  Michael Brown has stated that Adama Traore would not get the game time he needs to develop at either Anfield or the Etihad Stadium. According to Le 10 Sport, both Premier League top clubs as well as Manchester United and Bayern Munich, have been interested in signing the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window. However, having seen Traore only establish himself as a first-team regular for Nuno Espirito Santo this season, Brown believes he needs another year before making such a high-profile move. When asked if it was the right time for him to move to Liverpool or Manchester City, in an interview with Football Insider, he said: “Personally I think another season at Wolves, playing week in, week out – I think if he went to another club, no disrespect to Wolves, he might have to not play so much. “I think he’s had a full season now where last season he was still not playing every week so the thing for me is, if you’re saying where does he need to be, I’d be saying go and do another year with them – that would be my advice.”  Traore has made 43 appearances for Wolves this season, having scored 6 goals and provided 10 assists.
