Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has travelled to South Africa to receive a special treatment after his recent hamstring injury.
The club’s medical department has sent the 29-year-old to Africa to come back to the fitness at Sport Science Insititute in Cape Town.
On his latest comeback on March 31 Lallana was on the pitch for just five minutes before hamstring injury which proved that he was brought back too soon from the previous setback.
Lallana will hope to be able to prove his fitness in time for World Cup..
Liverpool will have three high-profile friendlies for their participation in the summer’s Inernational Champions Cup in the United States. They will face Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United.
