Jamie Carragher was critical about Arsenal duo Gabriel Magalhaes and Granit Xhaka and their actions during the club's 2 - 1 loss to Manchester City.
Xhaka's foul to Bernardo Silva caused to the penalty and a first goal for the Citizens, while Gabriel was sent off after receiving his second yellow card for a foul on Gabriel Jesus.
As a result, Rodri managed to net the second goal for his team in the 93rd minute of the match and secure a victory for Pep Guardiola's side.
“Arsenal were outstanding,” Carragher
told Sky Sports PL.
“Manchester City certainly weren’t at the races, especially in that first half.
“They have gone away from home to a team in real big form, without playing well, and won. You talk about the signs of champions.
“We talk about Manchester City being lucky. But Arsenal shot themselves in the foot.
“Absoutley brain dead some of the things that they did. One of those being Gabriel. Xhaka on the penalty as well. Absolutely stupid.”
