Gary Neville has labelled John W Henry’s apology video as an "embarrassment" and an "absolute joke".
Last week the principal owner of the Reds sent an apologising message to the fans, regarding the club's involvement in the European Super League.
“Who at Liverpool ever sanctioned that J W Henry video going out,” Neville
told Sky Sports on Sunday evening.
“That was an embarrassment.
“You think about it, you drive to Liverpool and you go up to a game and see those fans and you think to yourself ‘who allowed that video to go out’?
“It was an absolute joke. I have to say maybe the clever thing the Glazers have done in the last seven, ten or 15 years is not speak, if that’s how it’s going to come across. Maybe they are more aware.”
