Former Liverpool player Don Hutchison has revised his opinion on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal following the club's successful transfer deals for Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber.
Initially, the pundit had stated that Arsenal would struggle to secure a top-four spot in the upcoming Premier League campaign.
However, with the new season approaching, he now believes they have the potential to finish above Manchester United, despite their recent loss to the Red Devils in a pre-season friendly in New York.
“This is coming from a man, two weeks ago, that said Arsenal might struggle for the top four. But I am going to go with Stevie Nicol (for Arsenal to finish above Man United) because of the signings that they have made," Hutchison told ESPN, via HITC.
“Before they signed Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Timber, I said they would struggle for the top four, so now, to answer your question (who will finish higher Arsenal or Manchester United), I think it’s Arsenal. I don’t think it’s by a massive margin."
