He said: “We all know the contract has been taken off the table and I still don’t know why, because a few weeks before we’d sort of agreed on a deal and I was ready to sign. “But something happened within the club and I’m not exactly sure what it was. Hopefully one day somebody will come up and tell me why they changed their minds. “Maybe I’ll get some clarity when the time is right. If I get some reasons, maybe I can accept them but that hasn’t happened yet. So all I can do at the moment is get my head down and work as hard as I can to help this team for the rest of the season.” One thing is for sure: Ramsey will not be joining Tottenham.
