Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey mocked Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier with a social media message following the Gunners’ 4-2 north London derby win.
By half-time, Spurs were ahead and Dier had earlier scored their equaliser in the first half. He approached one of the stands and made a shush gesture to Arsenal fans with many taking exception to his behaviour while celebrating.
Ramsey, who was on the bench to confront the England international, was told by him to go and sit back down.
At half-time, Emery sent on Ramsey alongside Alexandre Lacazette to shift the balance of power. Their work saw Aubameyang find his second to level up the scores before the winning goals put the results beyond Spurs.
Hours after the game Ramsey send Dier a message of his own. “Sit down he said!”
A winking emoji heart was also added to the post.
