"A matter of hours" – Manchester City set to complete impressive signing quickly

Manchester City will complete their move for Valencia winger Ferran Torres in ‘a matter of hours’ with the player undergoing his medical in Barcelona. The young Spaniard has been on the verge of completing a move to the Etihad for the last week. A deal was agreed for €25m plus variables to take it over €30m but is yet to be completed. Marca and Super Deporte say that is about to change. The forward is in Barcelona this morning to undergo a medical before being signed by Manchester City. Super Deporte add that he was met there by City chief Txiki Begiristain, who has been ‘leading the negotiations’ in recent weeks, and several other executives from the Etihad.
