Baines is contracted with the club until the end of the season and has featured in 400 appearances for the Toffess since moving to Goodison Park from Wigan Athletic in 2007.

He has deputised for Lucas Digne several times this season and scored in the Carabao Cup exit to Leicester City.

Despite being an Everton icon, the left-back may depart from the club, as  Carlo Ancelotti looking to rebuild the squad. But he could extend his playing career elsewhere or become a valued member of the club’s coaching staff.

Walcott’s contract is set to expire next summer – in 2021, however Everton will be hoping to refresh their attacking options and Walcott could make space for new signings.

The 30-year-old winger arrived at Goodison Park under Sam Allardyce and has since worked under Marco Silva, Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti.

Morgan Schneiderlin

Schneiderlin, alike Walcott,  is contracted with the club until the summer of 2021.

The 30-year-old midfielder has struggled for form since his move from Manchester United and was mocked by Everton supporters during a Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace in 2018.

Schneiderlin may well consider a summer move but his time on Merseyside is almost certain to conclude in the next 18-months.
