"£50m is nuts!"- Leicester City sent transfer message amid Leeds United and Liverpool rumours

Leicester City fans are not keen on the idea of their side paying a £50 million to land Ben White. According to The Sun, Brendan Rodgers' side have joined the race for the centre-back who impressed on loan at Championship winners Leeds United in 2019-20. White has also attracted the interests of Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City are all keen. Leeds want him back too but Brighton are not keen on selling their asset and are holding out for at least £50m according to reports. City fans would probably want to see another defender come in, but they don't want the club to splash out £50m on White. "£50m is insane money, the market's gone mad," one fan said. "£50m and he couldn't get in Brighton's side," said another. "You'd still expect someone valued at £50m to be so good they didn't need to go 'out for experience!'" "I'd want the finished product for that kind of cash!" said a third fan. Another added: "He is very highly-rated and it would probably be best for the lad's development to do at least a season at Brighton where he's guaranteed a Premier League starting place in a back-three alongside more experienced centre-backs like Lewis Dunk and Adam Webster." "£50m is nuts," a fifth fan said. "I'd be happy if we got him for around £30m though, he is fantastic." Source: Leicester Mercury
