REVEALED: The shirt numbers available for Arsenal new signings this summer

Arsenal failed to seal a return to the Champions League for next term and it will not be easy to overhaul the squad for Unai Emery with the budget he is owing right now. The list of players mooted for a summer move to the Emirates Stadium is rather lengthy though it will be difficult for Emery to persuade them join Arsenal as they won’t have a Champions League football. The list of player linked with Arsenal move is as follows: Ryan Fraser, Djene Dakonam, Joachim Andersen, Dennis Praet, Yannick Carrasco, Adrien Rabiot, Thomas Meunier, Andrei Radu, Ferran Torres, Eder Balanta, William Saliba, Kostas Manolas, Nicolas Pepe Wilfried Zaha, Samuel Umtiti, Jerome Boateng, Alexis Claude-Maurice and Hakim Ziyech. Free numbers No.1 The No.1 shirt will be available come the summer with Petr Cech set to bring the curtain down on his career after the Europa League final against Chelsea. No.3 The number is currently vacant following Kieran Gibbs' switch to West Brom at the start of the 2017/18 campaign. No.8 Aaron Ramsey's departure to Juventus on a free transfer means that the No.8 shirt is free to any new signings arriving at the Emirates. No.12 Confirmation that Stephan Lichtsteiner will leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of the month came on Friday afternoon, ending his one-year stay at the Emirates Stadium.
