VBET’s expert traders select their best bets for the weekend with three value horse racing tips on a bumper day in front of the box:
Has a bit to find on the bare form, but he loves it here and was only beaten half a length in this race 12 months ago.
Perhaps would have won that day had it not been for a bad error at the second-last. Returns to make amends off a 3lb higher mark, but that is offset by the appointment of talented conditional Oakley Brown.
Not far off top class on his day and produced a smashing performance in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup following a two-year absence.
This is tricky off top weight, but he’s got the stand-out form in the book. He might be an eight-year-old, though he’s only had nine starts over fences and should not be knocked off his stride by the prospect of heavy ground.
Recent form is uninspiring, to put it mildly, having been pulled-up on his three starts this season. He’s handicapped accordingly, though, and could be revitalised by the reapplication of blinkers.
Won before in soft ground, so conditions should not be an issue, while his short-head victory in this race 12 months ago off just a 2lb higher mark provides optimism that he’s well capable of taking a hand – assuming he’s on a going day.
