Progressive hurdler last season, having won four on the spin – including a Grade 2 at Kelso. This is much tougher, but she’s reportedly in rude health and gets lots of weight from her rivals. This step up to three miles should also suit.
3.00 Cheltenham – OUR POWER
Odds: 13/2
Only gone up 6lb for a really impressive victory on his last start at Kempton in March. Struggled on two previous visits to Cheltenham, but conditions look ideal for him. His trainer usually has them ready to roll at this time of the year.
3.35 Cheltenham – ROUGE VIF
Odds: 12/1
Not far off top class as a novice last season, having finished an unlucky-in-running third in the Arkle over course and distance. Trainer won this last year and will have him cherry-ripe for this. The good ground is also a huge positive.
