As expected, Chelsea played equally perfect with Barcelona, Juventus and Tottenham showed that they are in the same level, while Real Madrid beat PSG only because of poor decisions of Unai Emeri. What about other pairs? Turkish champions Besiktas lost to Bayern Munich 0-5, Porto lost to Liverpool with the same score, and finally Swiss champions Basel defeated to Manchester City 0-4. Unfortunately, these three matches proved that teams out of top-5 leagues aren't even closer to their rivals. And in such situation Shakhtar Donetsk can become the only team outside top-5 leagues to reach quarterfinals.
