Wolves handed another injury "blow"

Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back Ruben Vinagre is expected be ruled out for ‘some time’ due to a hamstring injury. The 20-year-old picked up the injury in the final minutes of Wolves’ FA Cup defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday. Vinagre, who has mainly been a substitute during his three seasons at Wolves, will have an MRI scan to determine the severity of the injury before beginning his recovery. The injury to Vinagre is a massive blow,” said boss Nuno Espirito Santo. “He will be away for some time now.” Vinagre’s injury means Wolves now only have 12 senior outfield players available for selection, as Willy Boly and Diogo Jota are edging closer to fitness. Wolves also recalled Ryan Giles from his loan spell with League One side Shrewsbury Town, in order to replace the Portuguese. Source- Birmingham Live
